Factors to consider when choosing the type of rolling bearing

Home    1    Factors to consider when choosing the type of rolling bearing

In the choice of bearings, if you do not know how to buy the bearings will bring a lot of unnecessary trouble. Also delay the work process, causing unnecessary losses to yourself. Therefore, when buying the type of rolling bearing, we can refer to the following factors to choose the rolling bearing:

When choosing the type of rolling bearing, the factors to be considered are mainly the following:

1. According to the size of the load

Choose roller bearings (line contact) with high load or large impact;

Choose ball bearings (point contact) for small loads or small impacts.

2. According to the nature of the load:

When the load is stable, you can choose ball bearings;

When there is shock and vibration, choose a roller bearing.

3. According to the direction of the load

For pure radial load, choose SAIQ deep groove ball bearings and SAIQ cylindrical roller bearings;

Thrust bearings for pure axial loads;

Radial and axial loads-angular contact ball bearings or tapered roller bearings;

When the axial load is not large, deep groove ball bearings can be used.

4. According to the speed level

When the speed is high, choose ball bearings and light series bearings;

When the speed is low, choose roller bearings and heavy series bearings;

The limit speed of thrust bearings is very low.

5. According to the rotation accuracy

High precision requirements-ball bearing selection;

6. According to the self-aligning performance

Poor shaft rigidity, poor coaxiality of bearing housing hole or multi-point support select self-aligning bearings;

7. Consider size restrictions

When there are restrictions on radial dimensions, choose light series, extra light series or needle roller bearings;

When there are restrictions on the axial size, choose a narrow series of bearings.

8. Consider stiffness requirements

When high rigidity is required, choose a roller bearing.

9. Consider economic requirements

Ordinary structure bearings are cheaper than special structure bearings;

Ball bearings are cheaper than roller bearings;

Low precision bearings are cheaper than high precision bearings.

10. Consider installation and disassembly

When the bearing is installed and disassembled more frequently, we can choose the bearing with separate structure. For example: SAIQ tapered roller bearings, SAIQ cylindrical roller bearings, needle roller bearings and thrust bearings.

The SAIQ bearing with conical inner hole can be installed on the tapered journal, so installation and disassembly are very convenient.

11. Consider neutrality

If there is a neutral error, such as a large deformation of the shaft or the housing, or a poor processing or installation of the bearing seat, use a self-aligning ball bearing or a self-aligning roller bearing.
